Privacy

This site sets no cookies and makes no third-party request. Buying runs through a merchant of record, so your card never reaches this laboratory.

The short version. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and makes no third-party request. Buying is handled by Lemon Squeezy, who take the payment and are the seller of record; your card never reaches this laboratory. What reaches us is your name, your email address, your country and what you bought — and the email is used to deliver the files and answer you, and for nothing else.

Who we are

LFM Labs, a polymathic laboratory. Methods is its fixed-price line. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page, including a request to delete what we hold.

What this site collects

Nothing. There is no analytics of any kind, no advertising or tracking cookie, no session recording, no fingerprinting, no account and no newsletter. The pages are static files. The typefaces are served from this address rather than from Google, specifically so that opening a page does not announce you to a third party.

The site is served by Cloudflare, who keep ordinary web-server records — the address a request came from, when, and which page — to deliver the site and to absorb attacks on it. That is infrastructure logging, it is not analytics, and no profile is built from it.

What happens when you buy

Payment runs through Lemon Squeezy, who are the merchant of record. That means they sell to you, they collect the money, and they account for the sales tax in your country. Your card details are entered on their checkout and are handled by their payment processor; they are never transmitted to us and we could not see them if we wanted to.

After a sale we receive, and keep, a record of: your name, your email address, your country, what you bought, what you paid, and the order number. We keep it because it is the receipt — it is how a refund gets made, how your free revisions reach you, and what the tax record is built from.

What your email is used for

Three things. Sending you the files you paid for. Sending you a revision of a Method you already own. Answering you when you write. There is no mailing list, nothing is sold or rented to anybody, and you will not be added to a sequence.

What you can ask for

Write to [email protected] and ask what we hold about you, ask for it corrected, or ask for it deleted. Deletion is limited by one thing only: a completed sale has to keep its record for as long as the tax rules require it. Anything beyond that goes.

Lemon Squeezy

They are a separate company with their own notice, and their handling of your payment is governed by it: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy. The privacy notice for the parent site is at lfmlabs.com/privacy.txt; it covers a site that takes no money, which is why this page exists separately.

Changes

If this changes the date below changes with it, and the previous wording is in the build history rather than quietly overwritten.
